Chapter 139: Pair Up

______________________

After a long day, they returned home late in the evening. Gu Yu ate a small bowl of porridge and then went straight to sleep. Zhang Siyi took care of the two wild cats and walked the dog.

After washing, he went into Gu Yu’s room to check on how he was doing. Seeing the layer of sweat on Gu Yu, Zhang Siyi checked his temperature again and felt relieved to see that his body temperature wasn’t as high as it was before.

Zhang Siyi sat on the edge of his bed and silently watched Gu Yu sleep for a long time. Since Gu Yu didn’t wake at all throughout Zhang Siyi’s care, he knew that Gu Yu was sleeping deeply. His physical strength had reached his limit. Even when Gu Yu was so weak a vulnerable, Zhang Siyi loved him very much.

In fact, this was the first time Zhang Siyi had taken care of someone else. Even though he has lived away from home and traveled, he always had his friend Fu Xinhui by his side. Fu Xinhui was like a mother hen. When Zhang Siyi was sick, his friend was there to give him tea and medicine. When he came back to China, Fu Xinhui found an apartment for him. Even meals and the details of living were mostly taken care of by Fu Xinhui. During the time Fu Xinhui wasn’t at the apartment, Zhang Siyi finally had to live on his own and grow up.

After twisting the warm towel to squeeze out the excess water, Zhang Siyi finished wiping Gu Yu’s face and neck. Making sure both he and Gu Yu got enough sleep, Zhang Siyi decided to quietly go back to his room for the night.

Lying in bed, Zhang Siyi let out a long sigh. He thought about today’s events and also about the past month’s tidings. Thinking of his friend now living in Australia, he went to message him in WeChat: “Heartless Han, how have you been recently?”

Replying quickly, Fu Xinhui texted: “Hey! How are you!? Is it a good time for a video chat?”

Zhang Siyi: “Yep!”

Moments later, Zhang Siyi’s phone buzzed. Turning the light on quickly, he swiped to answer the video call and saw Fu Xinhui’s face appear on the screen.

Smiling, Fu Xinhui shouted in the phone: “Xiao Yi!”

Zhang Siyi: “Ha-ha. Why are you so excited?”

Fu Xinhui: “Hey, how can I not be? We haven’t contacted each other for a long time!”

Zhang Siyi: “What time is it there? What are you doing?

Fu Xinhui: “It’s 3 hours behind you. Even though its midnight, I just got back from work.”

Zhang Siyi was surprised: “Work? Did you get a job?”

Fu Xinhui: “Yeah, I am no longer rich. I have to earn my own living expenses now.”

Zhang Siyi: “What kind of work do you do? Why did you come back so late?”

Fu Xinhui: “I’m working a late shift in a café until closing time. Where are you? Why are you still awake so early in the morning?”

Zhang Siyi: “Well.”

Fu Xinhui: “Where are you living now? Do you live alone? How is Cheer-Up?”

“Umm…” Faced with the series of questions, Zhang Siyi didn’t know where to begin.

Watching Zhang Siyi’s face, Fu Xinhui saw his expression look strained so he asked: “What’s the matter?”

Zhang Siyi decided to first explain about the dog: “Your son isn’t called Cheer-Up anymore. His name was changed and is called ‘Townhouse’.”

“Ah?” Fu Xinhui was concerned: “Townhouse? What the hell kind of name is that! Why was it changed?”

Zhang Siyi: “Never mind that. I have something else to tell you.”

Fu Xinhui frowned: “What?”

Zhang Siyi took a deep breath and said: “I’m living with Gu Yu now.”

Since Fu Xinhui was only familiar with person with the surname Gu that Zhang Siyi hated from the beginning of Zhang Siyi’s employment, he thought it was strange and his facial expression remained blank.

But Zhang Siyi went on to say: “So now, I’m with Gu Yu.”

Remaining silent, Fu Xinhui didn’t know how to react. Slowly, he questioned: “What do you mean by with…?”

Zhang Siyi solemnly stated: “It is what you think it means.”

Afraid of Fu Xinhui’s thoughts, Zhang Siyi quickly added: “We are in a relationship.”

Zhang Siyi dropped the bombshell. Over the phone, there was a series of noises and sounds because Fu Xinhui couldn’t express words. Finally: ”Fuck! You, you…”

Having expected this type of reaction from his friend, Zhang Siyi subconsciously held the phone away from his ear feeling anxious. However, he also felt relieved to be able to tell him the truth.

Since Gu Yu posted a shadow photo of them on his social media, Zhang Siyi hasn’t suffered any backlash. Sooner or later, now that he was committed to Gu Yu for his lifetime, he would have to come out of the closet and be honest with the people close to him.

Since he had been traveling in Yunnan and diligently working on the tourism project with Tao Fei, he hadn’t found the opportunity to talk to Fu Xinhui. Currently, Tao Fei was the only person outside of family that knows the truth, but Zhang Siyi also wanted his best friend to understand.

When he finally stopped shouting, Fu Xinhui took a calming breath and asked: “Fuck! Are you teasing me!?”

Zhang Siyi: “No……”

Still, Fu Xinhui didn’t want to believe: “Is it April Fool’s Day?”

Zhang Siyi: “No… Today is May 15.”

“But, but, but… Aren’t you straight!?” Even though Fu Xinhui already thought Gu Yu had an interest in Zhang Siyi when he met him at KTV, Zhang Siyi reactions were quite normal. He has known Zhang Siyi for so many years and didn’t notice any gay tendencies.

Squeezing the bridge of his nose, Zhang Siyi weakly said: “Before, yes….”

Fu Xinhui: “Eh?!?!?!…”

It was a huge shock for Fu Xinhui to learn that after knowing Zhang Siyi for five years, he could suddenly turn gay for another man. The news was too much for Fu Xinhui’s mind to handle and he remained unable to speak clearly.

Zhang Siyi added: “I like him very much now and he likes me very much. We are serious.”

“Fuck, Fuuck, Fuuuuuuck! Don’t say it!” Fu Xinhui shouted. Trembling, he raised his hand to cover his eyes. “Let… let me digest it first.”

Zhang Siyi: “….”

As Zhang Siyi thought, changing the dog’s name was rather insignificant compared to this matter.  ╮ (╯_╰) ╭

In an effort to ease the tension between them, Zhang Siyi changed the topic of conversation. They talked about work and studies and what they have been doing in their daily lives. Fu Xinhui spoke about his successful admittance to M University’s Department of Finance. Talking about another degree spurred Zhang Siyi to discuss his thoughts about going back to the UK for RIBA part 2 license.

Fu Xinhui was absolutely supportive of this matter: “Since you want to continue on the road of architecture, I feel that it is very necessary to go back and get a master’s degree. The education not only determines your starting point, but also determines the height with which you can achieve later.”

Talking about a Master’s degree again and with Fu Xinhui’s insistence, the path to a RIBA part 2 license has taken root in Zhang Siyi heart. After twenty minutes of talking, Fu Xinhui was much calmer and steered the conversation back to Zhang Siyi relationship with Gu Yu.

Zhang Siyi succinctly explained the situation to Fu Xinhui and stressed that they mutually liked each other and were willing to be together.

Fu Xinhui sighed: “Did you really think about it carefully?”

Zhang Siyi vowed: “Really.”

After being silent for a minute, Fu Xinhui squinting eyes and said: “You honestly tell me. Before you were with Gu Yu, did you have feelings for me?”

Zhang Siyi: “Fuck no! Do you think it’s that easy to become gay?”

Fu Xinhui: “……”

Fu Xinhui: “That’s good. I thought, since I suddenly left you alone, you became hungry….”

Zhang Siyi’s eyes twitched. –How can Fu Xinhui brazenly talk as if there was never a problem to begin with. Also, what the fuck does ‘hungry’ mean. Gu Yu is so much better than you!

Rubbing his chin in thought, Fu Xinhui curiously asked: ”What’s sex like? Can you really get it up with him? What does it feel like to insert your…?”

Zhang Siyi coldly said: “You can sleep now. Bye!”

Without hesitation, Zhang Siyi hung up the phone and thereby cutting off Fu Xinhui. He put the phone on the bedside table and held his pillow to his face and muffled his scream.  Now that his feelings were vented, he felt calmer and seriously thought about the logistics of getting a Master’s degree.

First, the start of the University’s semester is in September and before submitting an application, a person is expected to have at least one full year of work experience. For Zhang Siyi, that would be in August and as a result, make it impossible to apply this year. Second, another issue is money. Since his family already agreed to only support him while he got his undergraduate degree, he had to have enough money to pay his own tuition. Thinking about the cost of living in London in addition to the cost of tuition and school supplies…… Well, the road to saving money is very long! There is also a third point and the most important reason. Since he is with Gu Yu now, he was unable to imagine leaveing his side!

Ah, so let’s think it over in about two years!

After the weekend break, Gu Yu’s condition improved greatly. In order to thank Zhang Siyi for his care, Gu Yu specially gave him a bonus from his monthly living expenses making Zhang Siyi happy. Upon learning of Gu Yu’s recovery, Tao Fei no longer felt the need to visit.

On Monday morning, Gu Yu informed the team members about an announcement that will be made at the dinner tonight in celebration for Zhang Siyi and Tao Fei project.

Everyone wondered what the announcement was and gossiped about it throughout the day:

“What’s the good news?”

“I don’t know.”

“Have any of our group’s projects won an award?”

“Could it be a corporate tour?”

An employee that has been with the company for long explained it for the newer employees. The company sponsors a trip for the designers every few years. The last time was in 2013 and it was to Malaysia.”

Zhang Siyi’s ears immediately stood up. There is such a good thing as to travel overseas?! Gu Yu hasn’t mentioned it to Zhang Siyi at all.

Letting everyone stir for the day in anticipation about the announcement, the good news wasn’t confirmed until the evening at dinner. Gu Yu said: “Next month, the company will sponsor the design department to tour Japan.”

Everyone cheered! Sure enough, someone had already guessed it!

Gu Yu: “Tong Heyi and I have organized a trip for everyone to visit Japan for ten days next month after The Dragon Boat Festival. The company will compensate thirty-thousand for the trip only for those traveling. Soon, the Ministry of Personnel will need your information to prepare a visa.”

How can such a good thing happen? Some people are already excited to scream!

Gu Yu said again: “We are responsible for arranging the itinerary. The hotel personnel department will help you to book the hotels in advance. In order to save money, the rooms are double occupancy. Our group happens to have eight men and four women. Pair up before making reservations for the hotel.”

Just when Zhang Siyi was thinking how wonderful it would be able to travel and stay with Gu Yu, Lu Qiao interrupted his chain of thought. Staring right at Zhang Siyi he announced: “Auntie Four, I’ll stay with you!”

In the excitement and good feeling of the moment, everyone laughed. Someone shouted: “Ha-ha. Joe Sister with Aunt Four. Clearly, there are six boys and six girls!”

Zhang Siyi: “….” six men and six women? Screw you!

Chapter 138: Vulnerability

For Gu Yu, it is not his body that supports him at this time, but his sheer willpower. Over the years, there was almost no one who could break his stubbornness, until today. When he heard the fool firmly saying he was taking him to the hospital, Gu Yu’s wall finally cracked.

Sitting in the backseat of the taxi and after thoroughly explaining the follow-up work over the phone, Gu Yu closed his eyes. He continually held Zhang Siyi’s hand tightly as if Zhang Siyi was his source of strength.

At the nearest hospital, Zhang Siyi registered Gu Yu, filled out the necessary paperwork for him than took him to the waiting area. He also accompanied him into the room while the doctor evaluated his condition, drew blood, and gave him an IV of fluids.

For the first time, Gu Yu discovered that his ‘little apprentice’ was also a man who he could rely on. The feeling of relying on another wasn’t as difficult as he imagined.

Sitting alongside Gu Yu’s hospital bed, he watched the Doctor take his temperature. When he saw the digital thermometer beep at the final temp Zhang Siyi glared at Gu Yu with exaggeration and exclaimed: “39.8°C! (103.6°F). In middle school, I remember being dizzy with a fever of 39.2 (102.6). What were you thinking all day with your current condition!? Aren’t you afraid of frying your brain!?”

With a hoarse voice, Gu Yu weakly defended himself: “This morning my temperature wasn’t so high. Only now after vomiting did it feel worse.”

Zhang Siyi gritted his teeth and said: “I blame it all on that damn Li! You told him you weren’t able to drink alcohol today, but he still made you drink anyway!”

Gu Yu sighed and said: “If this were another occasion, I wouldn’t drink with him.”

Knowing Gu Yu who can easily takes advantage of any situation because of his normal black belly, poison tongue character, it seemed like an unusual comment coming from him. Gu Yu isn’t accustomed to making compromises. Wondering what he meant, Zhang Siyi questioned: “Then why did you still drink with him?”

Gu Yu answered him: “You performed very well this morning.”

Zhang Siyi is quite happy to hear Gu Yu’s approval, but what does this have to do with drinking? Is Gu Yu happy to drink with Li? Wait, no! “You…. You did it for me?” Zhang Siyi asked with wide eyes.

Gu Yu’s faint smile answered Zhang Siyi.

Feeling anxious, Zhang Siyi hurriedly said: “Why!”

Watching Zhang Siyi closely, Gu Yu saw his frantic expression. He grabbed his hand, squeezed it and explained in a low voice: ”Siyi, this morning’s presentation was very good, but the contract wasn’t signed so you don’t really know what will happen once they leave the conference room. I have seen many young architects with good ideas and designs but loose a contract after the fact. You must maintain your relationships at the dinner table because it can directly affect the signing of a contract.”

Gu Yu paused and coughed twice then continued: “If it’s my own project, I wouldn’t drink with just anyone under similar conditions, but Party A isn’t the same since we are friends. It’s only customary to maintain basic respect between us and follow along.”

Zhang Siyi nodded.

Gu Yu added: “You are taking notes and drawing in your journal every day in order to be like me. Then I will only say this to you: Siyi, we strive for excellence in order to maintain our freedom to design. On the road of architecture, you will slowly understand that the hardest part is not the name and profit, but the freedom to do as you please and design whatever you want.”

Zhang Siyi: “…… Hmm.”

Contradicting himself, Gu Yu said: “But the world is not so ideal and as a result, sometimes we have to learn to compromise. Just like Tao Fei had to do with his design for the High-Rise commercial building. Do you remember Chiang? Do you know why he give up architecture to open a restaurant?”

Zhang Siyi: “Not for feelings?”

Gu Yu: “It was not simply for feelings, but because he wasn’t able to make any concessions. He treats his designs with more stubbornness then Tao Fei and as a result, refused to make any changes large or small. In the end, you can’t survive in the industry without some compromises.”

After listening to his roundabout explanation, Zhang Siyi still wanted a clear answer: “Because of me you had to compromise yourself?”

“Uh-huh.” Gu Yu finally confirmed: “I know how upset you were when the C City project was scrapped in the middle. Both you and Tao Fei performed exceptionally well today. There were many good signs throughout the presentation and I didn’t want them to resent the project just because I didn’t drink a glass of wine. Therefore, for the future cooperation of the project, I buried my unease and drank.”

Zhang Siyi didn’t realize the complexities that a glass of wine represented.

Gu Yu looked at him and firmly stated: “I stopped you because you are always acting rashly. In this situation, what reason is there that you could block me from drinking wine and instead, drink it in my place?

Zhang Siyi replied: “I can tell him that you are not healthy so I’ll drink the glass for you.”

Gu Yu shook his head and sighed: “If you really did that, it might cause obstacles in the future. Look at it from President Li’s perspective. Treating people with courtesy, he was probably very happy and over excited about the project and to show his enthusiasm he properly drank with everyone.  He might have thought highly of me and thus, wanted to raise a glass. If you had stood up and thereby denying his appreciation, wouldn’t that be like a slap in the face?”

Gu Yu’s question left Zhang Siyi speechless.

Gu Yu: “Today, I asked you to come to the banquet in order to gain experience for future reference. Keeping your head down and calmly eating was your best performance.”

Zhang Siyi: “……”

Gu Yu patted him on the back of his hand: “Well, my cold wasn’t the only reason I got drunk. Don’t worry about it so much.”

With a plaintive expression on his face, Zhang Siyi lowered his eyes and said: “I know.”

When another patient on a hospital bed with an IV was pushed into the room, Zhang Siyi quickly took off his jacket and covered their two clasped hands. He said: “Now it’s time to stop talking and rest.”

After looking at Zhang Siyi for another minute, Gu Yu turned his head to a comfortable position then closed his eyes and went to sleep. Clearly, Gu Yu was in a very weak state and yet, he was willing to talk to Zhang Siyi for so long. Watching him, Zhang Siyi squeezed his hand tightly. Suddenly, he had a strong impulse in his heart: to become a better person. Only this time, it wasn’t solely for himself, but for Gu Yu.

He remembered the vows and promises that Gu Yu spoke during the time he confessed his feelings: “… No matter what obstacles we face in the future, I won’t let go of your hand.” Although he is younger, he doesn’t always want to rely on Gu Yu’s strength. Now, Zhang Siyi desperately wanted to protect Gu Yu by sharing any burdens and facing all of their problems together. Receiving the love of another is like a suit of armor, but loving a person makes one vulnerable.

For three hours, Gu Yu rested and three bags of IV fluids were absorbed into his body. During this time, Tao Fei called and brought Zhang Siyi the good news. The contract was signed and Party A paid a deposit of three-hundred-thousand. Hearing about Gu Yu’s hospitalization, with a guilty conscience, Mr. Li added another fifty-thousand to the total.

Aaaaaah! The hotel fees can be reimbursed! ~\(≧▽≦)/~

Zhang Siyi resisted the urge to wake up Gu Yu to tell him the good news and instead, continued to chat on the phone with Tao Fei. Concerned over the situation, he suggested to stay at home for another two days. He also mentioned a celebratory dinner and if he had time, he would come over to visit.

After the third bag of saline was empty, Gu Yu woke up. Zhang Siyi immediately told him the good news. Looking at the IV in the back of his hand, Gu Yu stated: “Coming to the hospital to earn another fifty-thousand is also an effective way to earn money.”

Zhang Siyi was so angry that he punched his arm.

In a hurry to stop Zhang Siyi, Gu Yu waved his other hand and said: “I’m kidding. It’s just a joke.”

Zhang Siyi glared at him: “I rather not have the fifty-thousand.”

Chapter 137: Condition

_____________________

Even Tao Fei didn’t know Zhang Siyi held an ace up his sleeve. Tao Fei began to listen to him attentively. Zhang Siyi’s ideas to incorporate Buddhist culture and related programs into the project was the most thought-provoking aspect to their plan.

When the presentation was finished, Zhang Siyi left the glowing picture of a Bodhi Beacon on the screen making it seem like the warm light from the Beacon illuminated the conference room.

The honeycomb mosaic of the sun-film that was used for the lampshades had a reflective effect under sunlight making them purely white. At night, when the light source of the lamp was turned on, the vague interlaced veins showed through, making the lamp look like iridescent leaves.

On the lookout tower, a series of Bodhi Bells were hanging from the edge of the platform. Although they were the same shape as the beacon, they had a different function. As the wind blows, they would emit a gentle chime and thus, making the tower and surrounding area a timeless place where one could seek refuge from modern life.

With their professionalism and beautiful drawings, coupled with the thought provoking culturally significant landmark, Tao Fei and Zhang Siyi have delivered a nearly perfect solution for the luxury resort project in the tourism development zone.

Even though they ended the presentation, the meeting wasn’t over. The silence was broken by the multiple voices talking at the same time in the room. One of the members of the group was particularly vocal after the presentation was finished. At first glance, other than wearing a string of beads, he didn’t stand out as he was very plainly dressed and low-key. In the beginning, he was quietly observing and listening to the report, but when he spoke at the end, the rest of the group immediately quieted and respectfully listened to all he had to say. This indicates that he must hold part, if not all, of the real decision-making power in Party A.

He happens to be a Buddhist and although his faction is different then those in the Southern region, he knows that Buddhist teachings are unbound. Being interested in Zhang Siyi’s plan considerably, he was eager to further discuss the significance of religious architecture with everyone present.

In this way, Zhang Siyi’s plan was exactly what he wanted! In the excitement, time passed quickly and lunchtime fast approached. At President Li’s suggestion, they took a break. Although they haven’t signed a contract yet, their intentions are obvious at this time.

Overjoyed, President Li invited the Manager of the public relations department to bring her people to a nearby hotel in the afternoon to further discuss the details of the contract over dinner. As such, Gu Yu as the creative director and Tong Heyi as the deputy design director need to attend the party as well as the person in charge of the project, Tao Fei. Given the status of the people required to attend, it was natural that they were expected to go. Beyond expectations, when Zhang Siyi heard Gu Yu, he was surprised: “Zhang Siyi, after packing up and stowing away the materials from the presentation you also come to the hotel.”

Zhang Siyi: “……”

When exiting the conference room, Bi Lele and the other colleagues gathered around him excitedly: “Wow Four! You pulled that one out of the bag!”

Ji Feiyu was also curious: “Did you really go to those hotels?”

Tao Fei came over and put his arm around Ji Feiyu’s shoulder: “Jealous?”

Afraid of being hated, Zhang Siyi chuckled and said: “It’s all of Tao Fei’s money.”

Everyone immediately turned to stare wide eyed at Tao Fei with expressions of worship. Tao Fei grinned widely and threw a wink in Zhang Siyi’s direction in appreciation for his quick-witted remark.

Since the hotel was a ten-minute drive from the company to the hotel, the people in Party A took a business car to the facility while the designers from Borderless took a taxi.

For the other designers in Borderless, the banquet was actually rather boring as they were there specifically to create a good atmosphere by offering an ear to listen to Parry A’s bragging nonsense and chat politely.

With Zhang Siyi humble attitude, he was able to keep his head down and eat some food peacefully, but some of the others weren’t as fortunate. In particular, as a result of Gu Yu young fame, he bears more pressure than average to maintain positive relationships with peers in the industry.

Many people in the banquet approached him and discussed various topics. Not only did he have to politely listen, but he also had to have the knowledge and quick wit to reply to the person adequately in order to make them feel content. Witnessing the process made Zhang Siyi feel troubled and he can only imagine how bothersome it must have felt like for Gu Yu.

Noticing the lack of food that Gu Yu ate and the frequent use of a small towel to wipe the sweat from his forehead during dinner, Zhang Siyi worried about him.

President Li always came to Gu Yu for a drink, but Gu Yu clearly refused and stated he wasn’t feeling well and thus used tea instead of alcohol, but after three rounds of drinks, the President wouldn’t take any excuse seriously: “Don’t be a stick in the mud. When I was sick, I would drink warm rice-wine and let my body sweat to help get over a cold. If not for this project we wouldn’t have been able to meet. It’s been six months since we’ve had the opportunity to chat. Come, come – without a toast, the project won’t have meaning!”

One of Zhang Siyi’s pet-peeves is when a person forces alcohol on someone in the name of a blessing. Getting even more angry then he already was, Zhang Siyi really wanted to blurt out something, especially since Gu Yu really was ill.

Next to him, Zhang Siyi impulsively went to block the wine from Gu Yu, but he reached for the glass and winked at Zhang Siyi. He stood up with everyone, moved the glass in a circle to acknowledge the people present then faced President Li for a toast.

Since the banquet was coming to a close, the people attending were starting to gather their belongings and getting ready to leave.  The group of people sitting with Gu Yu also got up to gather their things and walk out of the dining area. As Gu Yu stood up with the others, he said: “Go ahead first. I’ll be there in a minute.”

Not noticing any problems, the others left without a word. Zhang Siyi felt relieved then turned to Gu Yu and asked: “Are you alright?”

Gu Yu was silent for a few seconds then suddenly said: “Help me get to the bathroom.”

…… Help? Zhang Siyi was shocked! Gu Yu can’t go by himself?

Zhang Siyi quickly maneuvered him into the bathroom stall and not a moment later did Gu Yu let go of his stomach. Even after emptying it, his abdomen continued to spasm and dry-heave. Standing outside the stall, Zhang Siyi was distressed over Gu Yu’s condition. He asked: “How’s it going? Are you feeling better?”

Normally, Gu Yu could hold his liquor, but with only one glass of wine, he was brought to his knees at the toilet and thus indicating how serious his condition was. After coming out of the stall, Gu Yu’s face was as white as a sheet of paper. Because he was trembling from fatigue, he was holding onto the door to help him stand upright. He had masked his condition throughout the presentation all morning and banquet in the afternoon, but now, he couldn’t take it anymore and was on the verge of collapse.

Feeling the vibration in his pocket, he looked at his phone and saw Tao Fei calling. He answered it, and Tao Fei had asked him when they will be coming down. Over the phone, Zhang Siyi replied: “Gu Yu is drunk and his physical condition is very bad. You will have to go back without us.”

Furrowing his brow, Gu Yu was eager to grab Zhang Siyi phone, but he simply hung up and pocketed it. Glaring at Gu Yu: “Do you still want to go back? Do you have any idea how worried I am about you?!”

Gu Yu: “The members of Party A…”

Zhang Siyi interrupted him: “The project is progressing very smoothly now. Even if you were absent for a long time, there are so many other people in the company including the President, Child Labor, and Tao Fei that will represent Borderless faithfully!”

The moment of male dominance was fierce and Zhang Siyi made the decision for him: “I won’t let you go. You are coming to the hospital with me right now!”

Slowly relaxing, Gu Yu moved his lips and hoarsely uttered: “Fool.”

Zhang Siyi: “…” Who the hell is the stupid one!
