Chapter 163: Kneel

____________________

Acting like he was going to ask the most provocative question, Zhang Siyi squinted his eyes at Ji Feiyu and said: “I heard you liked a female colleague in our group. Is it true?”

Everyone listened and thought there was going to be a good show! As long as Ji Feiyu’s answers, naturally they will continue to probe him for answers. However, Ji Feiyu scratched his head and smiled: “I choose a Dare.”

Zhang Siyi almost spit out his mouthful of wine.  – Huh? Why didn’t he go for it? I provided the perfect opening!

Ji Feiyu suddenly looked at Zhang Siyi for additional help and moved his eyes in the direction of Du Rui.

Zhang Siyi understand. Ji Feiyu couldn’t wait for the next question! All right then, send the Buddha to the West for help. Zhang Siyi coughed lightly and said: “Since you are not willing to answer, I will have to punish you. Kneel down before the girl you like.”

Ji Feiyu: “…”

Everyone: “Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!”

Ji Feiyu slowly got up from his seat and walked to Du Rui. Under the watchful eyes of the group, he got down on his knees onto the tatami mats. Since they were in a traditional Japanese Inn, they were dinning on tatami mats and low tables. As a result, it didn’t look very strange for Ji Feiyu to kneel down as he was on the same level as everyone else.

As Ji Feiyu maneuver into position, many members of the group hooted and hollered. While some people banged on the table, others tapped their glasses. For a second time the, ruckus grew louder and louder until it culminated into unified cheers.

Watching him in disbelief, Du Rui covered her mouth. His shy expression overshadowed any embarrassment……

Since Tao Fei assessment was correct, Zhang Siyi breathed a sigh of relief. It seems that Du Rui is interested in Ji Feiyu as well.

After ji Feiyu knelt down, he took a small box out of his trouser pocket…. Witness to his actions, everyone in the room held their breath in surprised. They all seems to have similar thoughts. – Shit! Is Ji Feiyu is going to propose?!

Even Du Rui looked shocked at the box he presented. She was even a bit scared.

Fortunately, when Ji Feiyu opened the box, there was only a pair of delicate earrings. He looked at Du Rui and sincerely said: “Du Rui, since your arrival at the company one and half years ago, I am yours. I’ve been attracted to your gentle and quite demure. With further contact, not only did I find that you are a soft-spoken person, but you are also a strong, independent, and hardworking individual with considerable empathy for others.

Being in the spotlight, Ji Feiyu was very nervous and as a result, his tone changed. In the now tense room, all of his colleagues sweated for him.

Ji Feiyu plucked up his courage and continued: “Do you remember the Changsha Hotel project a year ago? At that time, the company was very busy and no one else was able to spare their time to help me. Only you, after finishing your own work did you extend a hand and offer help. You stayed with me the whole week for overtime and together, you helped me tremendously. I was very moved by your kind gesture and wanted to confess to you at that time but I was afraid of rejection. I endured for a year and hearing about your family’s pressure for marriage, I became worried that you would be taken away from me. Our industry is very demanding. We sacrificed a lot of our private life for our profession and as a result, we seldom had the opportunity to date and fall in love. In this field of work, peers are more understanding. It isn’t easy to meet someone special from the same industry . Because of my hesitation, I don’t want to let you go if someone else comes to court you.”

Having heard his confession, with a touch of red in her eyes, Du Rui let go of her breath. The sweet words touched both her heart and everyone else’s. The similarity ended their however, because the sweet words were only directed towards Du Rui. The lone dogs were left feeling a tinge of jealousy.

Ji Feiyu raised the small box in his hand and said: “We saw these pair of earrings the night before in the market in Osaka. I saw you look at them more then once and ask about the price. I don’t know why you didn’t buy them so I made it a point to quietly go back to the shop and buy them for you. I hope you like them. I want to work together, design together, and grow together…… Du Rui, please be my girlfriend!”

The excitement of the occasion could be felt by the group. As the volume increased, people started chanting ‘together’ and as a result, Gu Yu raised his hand to quiet everyone. There didn’t need to be any more pressure on the couple as there already was.

Du Rui wiped the corner of her eye and reached out to take the box. Nodding, she said: “Yes.”

Everyone cheered and screamed: “Ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah, ah!!!”

Next to her, Bi Lele was chewing a piece of tempura. With tears in her eyes she exclaimed: “I’ll eat this bowl of dog food gladly!”

After his heart calmed down from the ecstatic feelings of acceptance, Ji Feiyu immediately turned to addressed Gu Yu: “Boss, I’m sorry. I know office romance isn’t encouraged in the work place. If you think……”

Gu Yu could guess what he was going to say and raised his hand to interrupt him: “As long as the relationship doesn’t effect both your work and Du Rui’s then it won’t be a problem.” He himself hasn’t exactly followed the rules by being in a romantic relationship with Zhang Siyi. How could he prevent others?

Ji Feiyu gratefully said: “Thank you!”

Gu Yu smiled at him and said: “I have worked with you for many years and treat you more as a friend than a subordinate. You don’t need to kneel at me. Get up.”

With laughter from the group the volume in the room was once again loud and cheerful. Ji Feiyu turned red then quickly changed his position from kneeling to sitting.

Gu Yu raised his glass and continued: “Today I witnessed heartfelt feelings. I am very happy for you. Du Rui is a good person so I hope you treat her well.”

Ji Feiyu tapped Gu Yu glass with his own and drank all the wine in his cup: “I know, I will!”

After the real purpose of the game was reached, they no longer played.

Waves were made by the shock of Gu Yu and Zhang Siyi acting out ‘fake’ dog food and then shortly after, witnessing Ji Feiyu and Du Rui’s real dog food. In the excitement, many people exceeded their normal alcohol tolerance. As a result, most everyone returned to their rooms to rest.

In these last two days, Tao Fei became obsessed with Era of Music. He also left the dinner party to play the game in his room. While the group wasn’t paying attention, Gu Yu pulled Zhang Siyi along for a walk outside.

At night, Kyoto was quaint and secluded. The inn was located near the Kiyomizu-Dera Temple. Along each side of the road the ancient capital was all around them. At this time, having already closed for the night, most of the small shops are dark, but for the glow of a single warm orange paper lantern hanging outside each shop making the atmosphere rather romantic.

Gu Yu checked his surroundings. With the help of alcohol and the influence of emotions expressed by Ji Feiyu’s heartfelt confession, and seeing no one around, Gu Yu reached out and enveloped Zhang Siyi’s hand with his own.

Gu Yu gave Zhang Siyi’s hand a squeeze. He whispered: “Do you envy them?”

Zhang Siyi: “…”

Gu Yu didn’t hear Zhang Siyi’s answer: “Do you regret staying with me?”

Zhang Siyi: “No.”

Gu Yu smiled gently and said with some sadness: “But I am envious.”

Zhang Siyi: “Hmm…?”

“I envy them because they can openly express their love and can be blessed by everyone.” Gu Yu let out a long deep sigh: “I’m sorry Siyi. I can’t do this for you as I’ve pulled you into the dark to be with me.”

Feeling distressed over Gu Yu admission, to reassure him, Zhang Siyi held Gu Yu hand tightly: “It doesn’t matter, we are good the way we are.”

In fact, Zhang Siyi did have some feeling of jealousy, but not in the way Gu Yu thought. He was envious of the way in which Ji Feiyu got on his knees to confess his feelings.

Zhang Siyi chuckled thinking about it. He jokingly said to Gu Yu: “When Ji Feiyu chose a dare, I asked him to kneel in front of the person he liked because I wanted him to get on one knee like a marriage proposal. I didn’t think he would get down on both knees. Ha-ha……”

While half smiling and half laughing, Gu Yu suddenly took both of Zhang Siyi hands and stopped. Facing one another, Gu Yu looked at Zhang Siyi affectionately. Zhang Siyi stopped speaking and forgot to breathe.

The atmosphere became someone else and he thought that they would kiss…

Instead, Zhang Siyi was caught by surprise when Gu Yu slowly got down on his knee while staring at his face.

Zhang Siyi gasped and held his breath. His nervous heart was pounding in his chest…. The person he loves was on one knee… Gu Yu lowered his head and looked at his shoes: “Your shoelaces are untied.”

Zhang Siyi: “………”

Kneeling on the ancient store floor in Kyoto, slowly and carefully, Gu Yu re-tied Zhang Siyi’s shoelace.

Chapter 162: Wasabi

__________________

Xu Jia was fortunate to have won the right to ask the first question. She looked around, and eventually settled her eyes on Gu Yu: “I have a question to ask the Director.”

Gu Yu took a napkin and wiped his mouth. He calmly replied: “Ask away.”

Hesitating slightly, Xu Jia felt a little embarrassed, but she went ahead and asked anyway: “Boss, who do you think is the best employee of the group?”

Everyone snorted — what kind of question is that? He can’t answer it!

Gu Yu: “You are all very good because each of you have your own strength.”

Since his answer was too impartial, everyone felt extremely dissatisfied. They wanted him to name someone. Feeling helpless under the pressure of the group Gu Yu finally offered up a name: “It would be Yuan Zhicheng.”

Yuan Zhicheng had his face buried in his food. He was eating a salmon sushi when he suddenly heard his name and looked up.

Everyone thought Gu Yu would name Zhang Siyi, but unexpectedly the Boss said Yuan Zhicheng.

Gu Yu explained: “Even though Yuan Zhicheng is a low-key person, he is very serious and works extremely diligently. His drawings are excellent.”

Even though Yuan Zhicheng was the best illustrator in the company, his presence was low. Listening, people were moved by Gu Yu’s explanation because it proved to everyone, whether they were loud or quiet, that their work and effort was acknowledged by the Boss.

Everyone raised a glass and coaxed: “Here, here. A toast!  The Director likes you the most!”

Yuan Zhicheng raised his glass and said: “Boss, Thank you.”

After everyone finished the toast, Gu Yu casually picked someone and asked a question, keeping the game going. Not long afterwards, Gu Yu was questioned again!

Even though everyone knew the origin of Ji Feiyu proposition, the group continued to direct their questions at Gu Yu. Who cares which person likes whom! They want to hear gossip!

This time Bi Lele asked the question. She smiled and asked: “Boss, why did you choose Zhang Siyi for your partner in the company’s couple matching game?”

Zhang Siyi: “…” He suspected this! Knowing about her ‘rotten’ nature, this type of question would definitely be asked!” (=_=)

However, since Gu Yu wanted to ignore the rules, the truth-telling aspect of the game is simply a game of ‘willing to take the bait’. Since statements are considered truth, liars don’t need to accept a punishment even when they lie.

Gu Yu glanced at Zhang Siyi and smiled a little: “Because I like him a lot.”

Zhang Siyi: “!!!”  – What about “lie”? Why the fuck aren’t you playing by your rules! (╯#°Д°)╯

After a brief silence, the crowd burst into laughter. Picking up their chopsticks, they tapped on their bowls noisily. It was probably the first time the Director made a joke with them! This game was interesting!

After answering, Gu Yu chose Tao Fei as a target for his next question: “Brother, you have been working with Zhang Siyi for two months on a project. What do you think of Zhang Siyi?”

This is the first time in public that Gu Yu has called Tao Fei brother. Tao Fei grinned and looked straight at Zhang Siyi: “I also like him a lot.”

Zhang Siyi: “!!!” Fuck! You are ganging up on me!

Everyone: “Ha-ha-ha-ha…”

The cooperation between Gu Yu and Tao Fei was too clever. Gu Yu first gave an ambiguous answer causing people to wonder if he had special feelings for Zhang Siyi, but then he asked Tao Fei a question and characterized they’re ‘like’ as in friends and comrades. His answer made it clear to everyone that they were just joking.

Anyway, as long as everyone is having a good time, no one cares whether there is any truth to the statement or not.

“It’s my turn to ask a question, yes?” Tao Fei directed his site to Zhang Siyi and grinned: “Zhang Siyi, who do you like more, me or my brother?”

Zhang Siyi: “……” What the fuck are you doing!

Everyone burst into laughter. Some people were laughing so hard that they fell to the tatami mats and rolled on the ground.

As the questions continued to revolve around him in some fashion, Zhang Siyi felt indignant. Since Gu Yu told him to lie, he will: “I don’t like either of you!”

Tao Fei was surprised: “Hey, you’ve fouled!”

Zhang Siyi stubbornly questioned: “How did I foul?”

Tao Fei: “I gave you a multiple-choice question so your answer has to be either myself or Gu Yu, but what answer did you just give? Replying without using the correct format is punishable!”

Since part of the game revolved around actions when someone didn’t want to admit a fact, in the excitement, everyone was swayed by Tao Fei’s logic and started to chant: “Puh-nish! Puh-nish!”

Framed by the crowd, Zhang Siyi couldn’t get away from the spotlight. Throwing everything to the wind he exclaimed: “Fine!”

He raised his glass to drink but was held back by Tao Fei: “Wait, who said the punishment was drinking?”

Zhang Siyi: “Doesn’t the person who chose Dare drink directly?”

Looking at him, Tao Fei raised his eyebrows. He took his chopsticks from his small dish and picked up a huge piece of wasabi then placed it on top of a piece of sushi: “I have heard of that lazy way of playing, but I play it differently.”

Zhang Siyi was shocked at what was placed before him. Does Tao Fei want him to eat it? He doesn’t tolerant spicy foods well. Normally, he can’t even stand the tiniest piece of wasabi, let alone a huge chunk like what was placed before him. If he ate it, he would definitely die!

Tao Fei smiled at his ‘masterpiece’ and offered an alternative: “I’ll give you two choices. Either eat this piece of sushi or,”  he glanced at Gu Yu, “you give brother a kiss.”

Gu Yu: “…”

Zhang Siyi: “………”

Everyone excitedly banged the table and chanted in unison: “Kiss him! Kiss him! Kiss him!”

Tao Fei narrowed his eyes at Gu Yu, as if to say, brother, I can only help you here.

Comparing the two choices, the difficulty of eating such a large piece of wasabi was obvious, However, kissing Gu Yu in front of everyone…… Zhang Siyi was beyond shy. He quietly looked a Gu Yu. To his surprised, Gu Yu was watching him with anticipation.

Given this rare opportunity to show affection in front of everyone in the guise of the game, Zhang Siyi had to admit he was a little excited…… Maybe, Gu Yu wants it too?

Temporarily forgetting the shackles that society has placed on him, Zhang Siyi unconsciously already had turned his head and leaned over…. He placed a kiss on Gu Yu’s face.

All the female colleagues held their face and screamed. Even the male colleagues hooted and whooped. While everyone was being boisterous and loud, the atmosphere reached a high tide!

Bright red, Zhang Siyi retracted his head. He wiped his mouth in a hurry and drank a glass of wine to hide.

Contrary to Zhang Siyi actions, Gu Yu sat still with a calm face. Having been kissed by another man, he didn’t appear embarrassed at all and in fact, he looked at Zhang Siyi in the eye and smiled slightly at him.

This little expression once again sparked the screams of a couple of rotten coworkers……. God, what to do! They want to see the Director and Zhang Siyi together!

Among them, there is one person who can’t find any reason to feel happy: Lu Qiao.

Even though it is supposed to be a game, his views were collapsing. Is it true that he is the only one who thinks that the relationship between Zhang Siyi and Gu Yu is not normal? And Tao Fei, why did he suggest such a proposition? How can he make that type of joke? What are they all excited about?

Lu Qiao felt as if he was slowly being separated from the group. He was unable to connect with his colleagues and integrate with them and as a result, he wasn’t able to find his place.

He was like a spectator only able to watch people revel in happiness, but not participate in it.

“Now it’s my turn, right?” Zhang Siyi looked to Ji Feiyu and said: “Chicken brother, I want to ask you a question.” Since Ji Feiyu was the main character of the game, this brother looked forward to ‘The-Question’ for so long. Wanting to divert people attention away from Gu Yu and himself, Zhang Siyi decided it would be a good time to address Ji Feiyu and lend him a helping hand

Chapter 161: Lie

_______________

….. Since when have they been together? Do the other people at work know? From Zhang Siyi’s sketchbook, it is clear that he likes the Boss. However, it can’t be one-sided since he willingly bought a heart lock together with Zhang Siyi. It proves he is also interested in him.

….. If they are dating, does that mean Zhang Siyi got special treatment? What about C-City? Zhang Siyi was given the opportunity to develop a plan for C-City…… but in the end, the project was terminated and the building wasn’t going to be built.

….. Since Zhang Siyi is usually with the Director, wouldn’t he receive more attention and guidance? Is that why Zhang Siyi had made so much progress so fast? That is understandable… but how did their professional relationship turn into something else? There is no excuse for that kind of behavior.

Deep in the recesses of his brain, looking for an excuse, Lu Qiao mulled over the issue. Why has Zhang Siyi’s progress exceeded his own? He really wanted to talk to someone, but he didn’t know who. He was a little afraid of telling others about Gu Yu’s and Zhang Siyi’s secret because of how well-liked they were in the company.

Just as Lu Qiao was thinking about them, both Gu Yu and Zhang Siyi stood up. Looking down at the floor, the idea of talking to others was quickly withdrawn.

Turning and noticing Lu Qiao, Gu Yu asked: “Why are you alone? Where is Tao Fei? Tell everyone to get ready to leave. We will meet at the exit.

Lu Qiao: “Oh……”

Leaving the Church of Light, the group returned to the city center and ate a light lunch. Afterwards, they visited the National Museum of International Art building** which was designed by Cesar Perri. In addition, they went to the Nampo Park complex** which was designed by the American group, Jerde Partnership.

As the day turned into evening, Gu Yu led them to a Japanese restaurant that served hot pot for dinner. While some members of the group felt tired and wanted to go back to the hotel to relax, there were others that wanted to stay out and continue shopping. Reminding them to stay safe, Gu Yu let the people decide for themselves what they wanted to do for their free time.

Taking advantage of the time spent in Japan, Zhang Siyi naturally wanted to stay out to look around and continue shopping. Since they had similar principles when visiting a foreign country, Tao Fei felt the same.

Lu Qiao felt indifferent. When he saw the three of them together, he felt an inexplicable sadness. As a result, he made up an excuse to leave and returned to the hotel with a few other colleagues.

In a good mood, Zhang Siyi was humming quietly when he returned to his room very late.

Lu Qiao asked: “Where have you been?”

Zhang Siyi: “We went to the Shinsaibashi shopping district and saw the Doutonbori canal. Oh yeh, there were many master works in the area. I also saw the Louis Vuitton building** by Kengo Kuma. The outer walls are made out of four millimeters thick onyx plates that were sandwiched between two pieces of glass. At night, with interior lighting, the walls become transparent and you can see the marble patterns in the stone. It’s super cool! It’s too bad you didn’t go!”

Listening to Zhang Siyi, Lu Qiao felt like he missed out and regretted his choice.

Zhang Siyi asked: “What about you?”

While Zhang Siyi was absent, Lu Qiao had laid down all evening lost in his thoughts. He couldn’t stop himself from conjuring up a variety of scenarios between Gu Yu and Zhang Siyi and as a result, it only upset him further. Feeling trapped by his own thoughts, with nothing to do and nowhere to go, he felt half-dead. Now that he heard the excitement from Zhang Siyi, he was becoming even more upset. Irritated, he was curt with him and replied. “There is nothing to do but sleep.”

His attitude surprised Zhang Siyi. Gawking, he replied: “Oh. I’ll go take a shower first.

Since Lu Qiao’s attempt to garner sympathy failed, he was furious. – Asshole! Now that you have a partner, you can’t spare the time for friends!

When Zhang Siyi came out of the bathroom, he saw Lu Qiao nearly covered up entirely by the blanket. He wasn’t sure if Lu Qiao was asleep. He casually asked: “Are you alright? Are you Jet-lagged?”

Lu Qiao stuck his head out from under the bedding: “What do you mean, Jet-lagged?”

Zhang Siyi smiled at him: “Well, you haven’t fallen asleep yet.”

Lu Qiao: “…”

Zhang Siyi leaned on the headboard of his bed and explained: “I noticed in these past two days that you seldom spoke and lacked energy. You didn’t seem like you wanted to go out with us at night so I thought maybe you were jet-lagged.”

As Zhang Siyi showed concern, Lu Qiao’s mood improved slightly. Still sullen he said: “It’s nothing. I don’t like to travel.”

Even though he knew from his experience during the business trip to C-City that Lu Qiao didn’t like to travel, he was curious and asked: “Why don’t you?”

Lu Qiao: “After work, I’m normally very tired. Since I can see everything on the internet, what is the point of going out?”

“Looking at a picture and being in the location feels different.” Zhang Siyi relayed a variety of ideas he learned from Tao Fei when they toured Yunnan.

Lu Qiao snorted at himself: “I don’t think like you. Anyway, I’m just a homebody. I rather stay at home and sleep. If the money given by the company for the trip could be converted into pay instead, I definitely wouldn’t come.”

Since their ideologies were so different, Zhang Siyi didn’t know what to say to Lu Qiao anymore. Instead of chatting, he took out his sketchbook, turned around and silently wrote in it.

Unexpectedly, Lu Qiao suddenly looked at him and asked: “Auntie Four, is your relationship with the Boss good?”

Zhang Siyi froze. Instinctively, he wanted to change the topic quickly. He gave a vague reply: “It’s alright.”

Lu Qiao remained silent for a moment. As if to insinuate something else, he sneered: “I saw you and the boss buy a heart lock that day.”

Internally, Zhang Siyi was panicking. He tried to relax his outward appearance and remain calm. He replied: “Just part of the game.”

Lu Qiao: “Oh……”

With ulterior motives in their hearts, there was nothing else to say.

The next day, under the leadership of Gu Yu, everyone went to Awaji Island in the southern part of Hyogo Prefecture.

Awaji Island is about two hours away from Osaka. There are a number of buildings designed by Tadao Ando located on the island such as Honpuku-ji, Awaji Yumebutai complex and the Botanical Gardens. It can be said that the island hosts Tadao Ando’s architectural collection.

Since Zhang Siyi was blindsided by Lu Qiao last night, he spoke to Gu Yu about what happened and they decided to deliberately avoid each other for fear of other colleagues noticing them.

The day was very busy with scheduled events. They left early in the morning at seven and didn’t return to the hotel until ten in the evening.

Feeling tired, Zhang Siyi wanted to get to sleep quickly so he changed his clothes then washed his face and brushed his teeth. Turning off the bedside light, he got into bed without saying a word to Lu Qiao.

Lu Qiao was feeling depressed. Even though he wanted to talk with Zhang Siyi, he neither found an opportunity to open a dialog with him nor did Zhang Siyi make an effort to chat.

On the fourth day of the trip, the group moved from Osaka to Kyoto. There, the main focus of the trip was to visit ancient Japanese architecture like the Imperial Palace** and Kiyomizu Temple**.

A surprise awaited the group when they arrived at the designated hotel as it was a traditional Japanese Inn. The rooms with tatami mats and futons accommodated four people. As a result, the group divided themselves into 3 groups of 4 with Zhang Siyi, Gu Yu, Tao Fei and Lu Qiao occupying one room. The four women and the remaining four men were each assigned a room.

Ji Feiyu joked: “Ha-ha. Since the men and women couples were separated, we now have four pairs of male lovers sleeping in the same room. Who is jealous!?”

Thinking of the true relationship between Zhang Siyi and Gu Yu, Lu Qiao immediately blurted out: “I’m not gay, don’t expect anything.”

As much as Gu Yu tried to remain indifferent, after hearing Lu Qiao announcement, he frowned slightly. The atmosphere became awkward for a moment and everyone was silent. The group turned to look towards Lu Qiao. Since Ji Feiyu thought he was making a joke, he didn’t expect Lu Qiao to take it so seriously.

Expressionless, Lu Qiao did not care how the rest of the group thought of him. He stiffly grabbed his bag and went into his room to place his luggage down into the corner then he walked out alone.

As the moment passed, people returned to their own thoughts and forgot about Lu Qiao. Chatting with their neighbors, they too collected their luggage and brought it to their assigned rooms. Moreover, Zhang Siyi and Gu Yu have realized they have overstepped the boundaries of a ‘game relationship’ and as a result, they have moderated their behavior in order to not attract further attention.

In the afternoon, the group visited the Imperial Palace and, in the evening, they returned to the inn to gather together for a sushi dinner.

With plentiful jokes and laughter, the atmosphere was lively and harmonious. As more sushi was eaten, more sake was passed around the table and the group became even more lively. Thus, Ji Feiyu became bold enough to suggest they play a game of Truth-or-Dare. Since everyone hooted and hollered at his proposition, it seemed like perhaps, everyone in the group already knew what his true intentions were towards Du Rui. They eagerly agreed to play the game.

Becoming sweaty, only Zhang Siyi was very nervous. Although he knew that Ji Feiyu’s goal wasn’t to expose him and Gu Yu, he was really afraid to play! Unexpectedly, Zhang Siyi felt Gu Yu grab his hand under the table suddenly.

Startled, Zhang Siyi remained still for a long time until he realized Gu Yu was writing something in the palm of his hand. It was an English word: Lie.

Lie? Is Gu’s asking him to lie? Doesn’t this mean to completely disregard the rules of the game?

Shit! Gu Yu is so despicable…… But he likes it! (=w=)
